On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are very pleased to invite you to attend the Eighth International Seminar on Hypnosis and Alternative Therapies to be held in Lima (Peru) from 05 to 06 of August, 2011. On this webpage you will find all the information you need to plan your participation at the Hypnosis International Seminar.
Following the long standing tradition of these Seminars, the Eighth International Seminar of Hypnosis and Alternative Therapies will be a major scientific event, bringing together health professionals from all over the world, and demonstrating the vital role that health play in our society. We very much hope you will be able to attend it.

This event will be presenting the best professionals from around the country and abroad who are linked to the health and human sciences, with the goal of sharing integrative and therapeutic proposals within a holistic paradigm of health. Previous seminars have served to build and strengthen ties among institutions and organziations among all the social, academic, and professional fields involved in health care, motivating participants from around the world. This organizational committee continues to support and further these important ambitions. In this globalized world, the most important subjects related to health are: - moving forward with the advancement of science and the development of new technologies such as biotechnology, nanotechnology, natural products, bioecology, functional food, human development, new treatments for chronic illness or degenerative diseases, human genome, and more.
- Themes and knowledge that are modifying the perception of meaning of health within the social, human and medical sciences.
The integration of western and eastern cultures is showing a new face in all the continents. The acceptance of words and concepts like soul or energy is evolving and attention is increasingly being placed in the study of these aspects of health in the academic field in our university, our country and our world.
Objectives of the International Seminar:
a) To analyse the progress of Hypnosis, along with Alternative Therapies, and their contributions to the health sciences. b) To establish priorities in the development of Hypnosis and Alternative Therapies in order to obtain an integral view of the human being.
c) To introduce different techniques or treatments, either natural or alternative, that are been used for the care or maintenance of health.
d) To strengthen support and preventive activities linked to health as a foundation for maintaining optimal health.
Specific Objectives:
a) To educate the public on the importance of Hypnosis and Alternative Therapies.
b) To further the integration of all health related fields, working for the development of integral health and recommending the use of preventive measures in order to maintain optimal health.
c) To promote the use of natural products, whenever possible, within different institutions and members of the society in order to avoid diseases or to preserve health.
d) To be a forum for dialogue and debate among the professionals working within the field of health sciences.
e) To broadcast and publish research related to holistic and alternative therapies. We are accepting spiritual and moral sponsorship from different institutions around the world. If you do agree with our objectives, and would like to make our world a better place to live, don't hesitate and write to us immediately.
The name of the sponsoring institution will appear in our videos, books, cd.s, pamphlets,etc, and at the end of the congress we shall send them a Certificate from the Peruvian Association of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis thanking their patronage and generosity.
